Chawal ki Kheer



Milk (full cream)    2  litre

Basmati rice         Soaked   1  cup

Sugar   10 tbsp  (to taste)

Green cardamoms       2-4

Raisins   10-12

Cashews      10- 12

Saffron   1/2  tsp  dissolved in milk

Almonds   10-12


Bring the milk to boil, add rice and reduce heat. Add cardamom and raisins.

Cook stirring continuously till it reduces to one-third of the original quantity.

 Add sugar and mix well by partially crushing rice. Add saffron to it.

Add all the chopped  dry fruits.

 Serve cold.
