Paneer Pasanda











  • 500 gms Paneer
  • 5  Onions
  • 5  Tomato
  • 1 ” long piece Ginger
  • 2 Green Chilly
  • 1 cup Cream
  • 100 Butter
  • 1 tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 tsp Dried Pudina Leaves
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1/2 cup Milk


  • Cut  300 gms cottage cheese in big slices. Crumble the rest of the paneer.
  • Add 2 tbsp of cream and ½ tsp salt to the crumbled paneer.
  • Now stuff the crumbled paneer between two paneer slices. Press lightly( you can also grill them if you want. Keep aside.
  • Chop onion very finely (you can grate it also).
  • Grind tomato, ginger, green chilly.
  • Heat butter in a pan. Saute onions till pink in color. Add tomato paste.
  • Continue cooking it on medium flame till ghee/oil begins to separate.
  • Add milk,  salt, red chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, dried pudina leaves and mix well. Cook for 1 min on low flame. Now add sandwiched paneer, cook for another min.
  • Put off the flame and then add cream.
  • Serve hot.
